Murchison, Taylor & Gibson, PLLC was founded in 1955.  The firm now has 14 attorneys, many with large law firm backgrounds, who practice in a variety of substantive areas.  One of the firm's principal founders, Wallace Murchison, was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill Law School and Harvard Law School and practiced with the firm for almost 40 years until his retirement in 1994. Another early partner, James C. Fox, left in 1982 to serve as a U.S. District Court Judge after being a partner with the firm for more than 20 years. 

Throughout its history, Murchison, Taylor & Gibson has remained focused on three core values: a commitment to provide high quality legal services, a commitment to provide those services promptly and efficiently, and a commitment to provide those services for a fair and reasonable price.  Because of those commitments, Murchison, Taylor & Gibson has earned the loyalty of and enjoys long lasting relationships with many of its clients.
