Received his B.A. from Amherst College in 1971 and his J.D. magna cum laude from Cornell University in 1975, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Murchison has served as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board (1975-79) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (1979-82). He is a member of the New Hanover County and North Carolina Bar Associations. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, employment law, health law and environmental law.
